ride from MD/DC area to Chapel Hill

Hey there everyone!
I am starting a meander that will eventually lead to Trail Daze. I am in Maryland now and am looking for someone to drive my truck and I down to Chapel Hill (or anywhere near there, Raleigh, Durham, Carrboro...) I'll pay for all the gas and buy ya lunch if ya want. We could leave anytime Friday (5/8/09) through Sunday. It would be one way, I am not coming back up to the MD area. I am gonna hang there in Chapel Hill for a few days with friends and then head to either Damascus or Asheville or Waynesboro. I'll wind up in Damascus hopefully Wednesday! I am super psyched to see everyone there and rock out! My truck is an old 1979 Chevy Luv, but she has a lot of heart and rides well. She is also a stick shift. email or PM me if you are interested! Not trying to be nosey, but why do you need someone to drive your truck for you? Do you just mean after you have spent several hours at the wheel or the whole way? Unfortunately I can't help you with this trip, I am already near Damascus

thanks for the note Ratchet. unfortunately, I have had some medical stuff going on recently and the doc says not to drive for awhile, so, yeah, I am hoping someone would be able to drive the whole way. I would love to just drive myself, but when life hands you lemons... :)
