I am looking to find a place to park my car for 4 - 7 weeks somewhere around Delaware Water Gap. What would be the best possible service and or safe place. I am a school teacher trying to get some miles hiked in the summer months. I will be driving from Michigan to DWG (arriving sometime on June 9th or 10th). If anyone has any suggestions for me, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks for your time. Pony Express
Check with the DWG park rangers. You can park at the parking area which is right on the trail with permission. I parked there twice for over a week each time with no problems. The rangers will want your contact information so they will know your car is not abandoned. I did hear bad reports from people parking across the highway at Worthington S.P., DWG is a more secure area. Hope this helps.

I am headed north - hopefully get through New Hampshire but that will be pushing it. I have to be back to Michigan because I coach varsity volleyball and my season starts about the 10th of August. CRAZY!
Are you doing any hiking this summer?
