Tim has the local grocery store in monson at the south end of the hundred wilderness and wants to sell. He has been serving hikers for many years. It's on the same street as shaw's hostel It's a turnkey operation. it has four bedrooms and is an old general store that's fully stocked. Please call 207 997 3964. yep, saw it last aug. It's also has three floors (i believe) so you can also have a separate business in the basement and live on the third floor.

he keeps trying to talk us into buying it. i'd love to and really turn it into a diner type place, but "retirement" is too far off

Wow, this makes me glad I caught bluegrass night last year. Hats of to you Tim, you can play a mean gee-tar. Here's hoping that whoever the new owner is keeps the bluegrass.

It should be mandated in the purchase agreement - "Fri. night Bluegrass session is mandatory". I played the spoons :p there last year.
I'm not quite ready to retire and buy a store.
