Since we didn't get out in "May" let's try to get together and hike the Adventure Hiking Trail, the first weekend in June. If anyone is up for this trail please let me know.
I don't know much about it except it's down around Corydon and I think it's around 23 miles in length.
If anyone has a good site for down loading a map, please post it here.
Hope to see you there.

Well the first weekend doesn't look good for me (NO $$$$), but maybe something will happen to where we can hike this trail later this month, if anyone would like to get together.
I haven't hiked the whole thing, but have done a section. I think most of the creeks are dry and the sections by the Ohio river are on a steep hill so going down to the river is not really an option unless you absolutely have to. Fortunately though, there are a couple spots where the trail crosses roads so caching water shouldn't be too hard. I know the park was hit by the ice storm and they actually closed it for a little while afterwards. So I'm sure there are still some blow downs but I don't know how many. There is a ranger station in the park and you should be able to get a map from them. I think 2 nights/3 days is what most people do. I wouldn't want to do it in 1 night/2 days. Also, it is closer to Leavenworth than Cordyon, but coming from the East you would get off at the Corydon exit then drive approx 25 minutes. Not sure if I'll make the trip, but I'd like to. Once we get some dates and more people's input I'll go from there.
I talked to someone who has hiked the whole trail several times. I have a lot of info I will PM you GG. But in a nutshell it sounds like a very tough and challenging trail.

Since this trail is some what "Iffy" as far as water sources, and blazing, does anyone have a suggestion for a (possilble) hike next month?:-?
