Tonight, through the wonders of the hiker network, I received a packet of maps that covers ~700 miles of trail in the Canadian Rockies.

They are on my kitchen table.

This could be dangerous....

(and by dangerous..I don't mean physically or in a macho BS way..I mean in a tempting, "another gap in my resume" kind of way. :D )

I've hiked between Banff and Jasper a couple of times - its wild country up that way! Words can't discribe it and pictures don't do it justice. But to get an idea, take a look at the photo in my photo gallery taken from near the top of Mt Belanger.
