Im trying to find some people on the trail currently to meet up with in July once my summer class ends. I do not expect to be a long term addition to anybodies hike (unless we get along abnormally well) but I would like to link up with someone just to ease into the trail at the start so its not as lonely.

I hope to start at Harper's Ferry heading NOBO beginning of July. The guy I was going to go with may not be able to go anymore. Are you planning on staying in VA? I'd like to at least have the option of making it all the way to Katahdin, which means I would probably need to start N of VA in order to make it.

I was planning on meeting up with someone as well but at this point the chances look slim. If that falls through Im up for starting at the ATC and heading north for a few weeks.

Great. I've got a ride lined up for June 26th (I'm coming from Atlanta). Are your summer classes done at that point?

Class ends 24th. So it will take a day or few to get everything in order so i can get away for a month but I should be out on the trail around the 26-28th. I will be starting around Harper's ferry if all my plans stay the same
