GSMNP starting July 2nd

I am interesting in hiking SOBO thru the park starting at Standing Bear the morning of Thursday, July 2nd. If anyone is interested in hiking NOBO from Fontana Dam and can start on the same date I would not have a problem meeting you at SB and having you drive my car to Fontana Dam. You do your hike and I do mine. I plan to do mine in 3.5 days.

We can meet in the middele and swap keys or we can shuttle each other and leave a car there? I prefer NOBO, but I can go south too

I'm going SOBO so that would work for both of us. Coming from Indiana it's faster for me to drive around the park to Standing Bear than to drive thru Gatlinburg. I'm guessing if you're coming from Savannah you can get to SB the fastest as well. I would have no problem meeting you at SB and having you take my car to Fontana Dam.
