pretty cool I have a dollar store tripod, but sometimes it is hard to get the pic you want with a 6 inch tall tripod. I have a ball on the top of my walking stick that the tripod straddles so that I can lean it on a tree and get the pic, but there isn't always a tree or a rock. Great gizmo

Yep, I really like mine. Wish it was strong enough to hold by miniDVD recorder, but it works fine with my digital camera.
