Honestly, I have never tried, or even had, to find this out. But I am curious and the answer could come in very handy.
I am using an MSR Whipserlite stove and it uses coleman fuel. I use it to boil water for dinner (usually liptons and cocoa) and at breakfast for cocoa and oatmeal. I don't use stove for lunches on trail. How many days of use should I get out of 22 ounces of fuel before I need to resupply on fuel?
I know I can go a week. Could I go two weeks?
I own a 33 ounce can and a 22 ounce can and am hoping to leave the 33 ounce can home.
I am going to be hiking a 160 mile trail soon (Cohos trail in northern New Hampshire) and I probably won't have as ready access to coleman fuel as I do along the AT. I expect the trip to take about 16 days with one max two zero days tossed in (so minimum of 14 days actually hiking.
Please help!
