Skipper and I are off for 2 weeks starting tomorrow, flying to SLC in Utah to do some hiking, etc in Bryce and Arches, raft trip in Moab, and then drive to Oregon and Washington - maybe even pick up a vision for the PCT. :)
Hope to check in on occasion. See you!

Thanks for the update!
Blissful, just finished a thru-hike of the Hayduke Trl(Arches, Canyonlands-Needles District, Capitol Reef, Glen Cayon Nat. Rec. Area, Grand Staircase-Escalante Nat. Monument, Bryce, Vermillion Cliffs-Paria River Wilderness Area, Grand Canyon(N.Rim and S. Rim), and Zion. Leaving on Tues June 9 for the Olympic Nat. Park coastline for a hike. Seeking to complete the miles I missed on PCT yhru-hike last yr. from Mt. Hood to Jefferson Park in Oregon and from Rainy Pass to Stevens Pass in WA in N. Cascades NP. I hiked all of the day hiking trails and the Under the Rim Trl in Bryce NP and to all the named arches in Arches NP as well as the Official Hayduke Route so if you need anything or if you would like to hike I'll be available. Utah is an amazing place to hike.

Bliss,
If you are hiking in Utah, be aware that the temps will be blistering this time of year. Temps could get in the 100s regularly. Arches and Canyonland dont have a lot of reliable water sources, so be sure to camel up and load up if you are going on extended hikes in the area.
have fun, wish I was going that way.

Checking in mid trip - had a great time exploring Canyonlands in 70 degree temps (unusual for sure) even had a rain shower in Arches. Today climbed Lassen Peak for a wild adventure hiking through snowfields and volcanic rock to the summit. First time for me at that altitude, but a great time and managed to sneak some views before sleet moved in. Glad for my trekking poles and yak trax that worked well on my trail runners in the snow. On to Oregon and WA.
You'd better have some to post!

I just returned from an 8 day trip to NV, UT, & AZ. We had just one day with temps reaching the 90s, while at the Valley of Fire. Most days were in the 60s & 70s. We even has a low in the 30s while at Bryce one morning. I'm glad I brought my MB inner down parka and sun hat.
Shout out to Dogwood for the Bryce trip report PM.
Blissful - can't wait to see your pics. I didn't see Zion NP on your list. It has great scenery.
