My GF and I are starting a leisurely traverse of the Whites and need a ride from Pinkham to Liberty Spring CG on Sunday, July 26 at about 7:45 (after breakfast at Pinkham). We're not taking the AMC shuttle because it doesn't get to Liberty Spring until 11:00 and we'd like to shave an hour or so off.

Otherwise, another option is to park at Liberty Spring Saturday night the 25th enabling us to start early Sunday morning and take the return shuttle when we reach Pinkham when there's no time pressure. What's the parking like at Liberty Spring, i.e. safe to leave the car for 5-6 days?

We always recommend hiking back to your car, even if it doesn't get you on the trail until 11:00.

And, no Liberty Spring CG. The Liberty Spring Tent site it up the mountain. Trail head is at the Flume or Falling Waters in Franconia Notch.
