Ok, got my pack for DWG to Damascus (starting Halloween) down to 23 lbs or so, not counting food. Heaviest item is the pack itself at 5.5 lbs +/-, wondering if any suggestions, short of buying a lighter pack(too xpensive). Trying to figure out how to go as light as possible here, because it will neccessarrily gain wt. in Damascus withthe addition of true winter gear for the trip thru to Springer. Any suggestions?
