Has anyone been out there recently? We were planning on doing the Lakeshore Trail in 3 days this upcoming weekend and were thinking of staying at sites 76 & 86. I know there has always been a lot of talk about how trashed some of these sites get with equestrian use, but just curious if anyone has been there lately.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

They weren't bad a 5 weeks ago. 86 is a really neat spot and I'm sure you will enjoy it, but it can get busy on the weekends with people coming in by boat. Enjoy!

I'm coming down the 27th to start a loop trail on the Lakeshore BMT trail. I'd like to know how you found the condition of the trail, water sources etc.when you get back. thanks!
