Max 04-12-2003, 20:07 The scale starts out at 3 lbs. I always remind people to subtract the 3 lbs. It usually makes them feel better that their pack only weighs 58 lbs not 61. 3 lbs can be psychologically damaging. I hope other then that that the scale is accurate. Maybe someday Amicalola will spring for a new one.
