Tom, AKA Trout Bum, is a great guy from here in town.
I spoke to him multiple times, helping him out with gear and other advice before his hike last year.

The BEST Columbus Dispatch Sport Section Front Page EVER!!!!!

On the way home from work tonight I picked up a copy of the Dispatch.
The article about Tom was on the front of the sports section, above the fold.
The other article (one column, right side) was about the Columbus Crew. There was not a single mention of Ohio State Football (or any other OSU sports) on the entire front page.
This is probably only the first or second time that has happened in the last decade or so.

I'm sure that tomorrow the main article will be all about the competition for the third string left defensive tackle on Ohio State's practice squad, or maybe about how the Cleveland Indians came back in the 9th tonight to beat Toronto and stay last place, 13 games back in the AL east.
