Hanover Parking. I have seen the number for Dartmoth College SS. I will give them a call about where to leave my car I was just wondering if anyone had experience with the lot that they direct you too. Is it easy to find? i may be having a friend re-suhttle my car for me and i don't want them driving all over hell and back trying to find the lot and then my car. I want this to be as easy for them as possible as they are doing me a huge favor.

Yes, the Dartmouth Lot A parking area is easy enough to find. I parked my car there for two weeks in June. I found it easily and so did my shuttle driver who had never been there before. You can download a detailed campus map from Dartmouth's web site. On the map look for coordinates J-4 at the right margin of the map to find Lot A.
Note: From East Wheelock Street the "Lot A" sign is rather small and the driveway does not look like it leads to a parking area as it is in a residential area. So drive slowly when approaching it.
When I called the campus Safety and Security people they referred me to the campus Parking Services. It is really the Parking Services people who need to know you are parking there and they will alert the Safety and Security.

When I sectioned through there, I parked as stated above, directed by the campus police (waaaaaay back in 199something :D).
On an overnighter with Wrongway and Peanut I parked behind the gas station next to the Dartmouth Co-op, right where the AT goes into the woods on the way north to the Velvet Rocks shelter. I don't have the name of the station anywhere, but if you feel more comfortable parking there than in Lot A, ask for permission. I'm sure they won't mind unless they have a bunch of repairs for the week.

Just like Capt Blue, Lot A worked well for me.

Thanks all. I'll look up a campus map and get all the info so that those that are doing me the huge favor of moving my car to the south end of my section for me will be able to have no problems. No the hardest part is coming up, waiting until I can leave. let's see how many hours in a week?
Yes, it's easy to find, and yes, my car was safe for the week that I left it there.
