Hello,

I like to use a poncho in the rain. However, the one I currently use is a piece of crap. It's an adult size but my head barely fits through the head hole into the hood. Dag gone thing cost me 30 dollars too. Anyway, I'm looking for a super light poncho that has a larger hood with a drawl string. I know I'll still get wet but I like the false sense of security one gives me. Also been thinking about getting a pair of rain pants. Looking at the Frogg trogg and some Sierra's or something. Might need those when it gets cold next March. Or even April. Any ideas for a sturdy, light, large headed poncho?

I'd give something like these a whirl around a holiday, such as upcoming Labor Day in order to get a better price. I checked this morning and these two items are a good 20% (minimum) higher than what I paid for them everywhere I looked. Great gear though. Happy trails.
