Yet another morning jaunt to the Indian Peaks Wilderness. An 8 mile/2000' or so gain stroll.

The usual drill. I hiked with my fellow laid off bum Terry. :)

We went to an alpine lake. We saw wildflowers. And this time we hiked to the the Continental Divide at Pawnee Pass (12500').

About half way between the pass and the lake

At the top of the pass on the Continental Divide at 12500' or so


..and I was able to get my crampons/ice axe/harness out of storage for my glacier hiking next month. Woo hoo!
