Who wants to give me a ride to the Long Trail

Hey everyone. I'm trying to figure out how to get from Burlington, VT to the northern terminus of the Long Trail around August 14. Is it an easy hitch? - I'm arriving at the airport, so how the hell and where do I start that hitch?

Of course, if anyone just happens to be headed out there, I wouldn't turn down a lift either. I could probably also pay for a shuttle too, if there is one. Anyone have some advise? I'm a clueless hiker, as always...

I know it's an AT list but it still has shuttlers in the area.

A coupla years ago when I did the LT Southbound I paid for a shuttle to pick me up at Burlington and take me to Journeys End on the Canadian border. Talk to Camilla at Rose Apple Acres in Troy, VT. PH 802-988-4300.
