My first thought was no self respecting backpacker would waste a beer on flapjacks, :eek: but then I saw it was bud light.

I am of the persuasion to crack one in the AM whilst in the woods. Perhaps better to have a beer with bacon and eggs.

Beats the heck out of me!
I've tried it in batter for fried fish. It makes a nice, light batter.
Mostly, I buy beer with taste, drinking beer - (and I drink it:eek:).:cool:
There's always room for more beer in the trail diet.
You never know when you'll get stuck somewhere with no water, cheap beer, and pancake mix. Beer pancakes could be the only thing between you and morning low blood sugar!
I think I'll try this at home first. Maybe with beer waffles even.

Several breads call for beer in the back woods and yes it's a waste of ETOH - but its bud light ... Whoooo cares? It's about the production of Carbon Dioxide to raise it.:banana

Ohh no - it's great, please do not dismiss it! Yes I have - they do not taste like beer - they have a fluffy pancake taste and the alcohol is all gone. The alcohol evaporates at a very low temp.
