JRB will be demostrating the Bear Mountain Bridge Hammock and quilts at the Saunders Brothers Apple Farm During the Indian Artifact Day this coming Saturday 22 August from 9-5...
Pan will be dressed in pre-Historic brain tanned buckskin and conducting a Flint Knapping Demo while Smee with a JRB set up will be part of the side show.... Note, we are not planning to bring the shop... Only the basics... If you want us to bring any thing special let us know by 1500 hours Thursday so we can pack it along.
This is a laid back fun day with lots of home made/local made fall food stuffs and plants and a great gaggle of native american artifact collectors.
The Sanders Farm is approximately 30 mile south of Charlottesville VA.....From I-64, take US29 south approx 30 miles, passed Lovingston then.... turn right (west) on Rt 56 ... The Farm and Demos are a couple mile up the road on the right.
A Fun cost free outing for the family with a chance for all you western end of Virginia, MD and DC folk to check out JRB gear... If you come with kids stop and say hi at the flint knapping area.... I'll teach the kids how to break some rock.... The folks from past MAHHA can attest that knapping and stone tools are a great show.
Hope to see you there.
