just back from camping at the scales for a couple nights with 20+ other WB members. picked tons of blueberries and ate tons of blueberry pancakes

Was there too, great time had by all. The blueberry pancakes were the stuff this morning in the cool weather! :D

From picking last weekend, I'm guessing there were more this weekend and probably at least another week or two before they start to thin.
Sounds like a good time. I meant to be there, but DW and I'll make another trip next weekend.

yes. there will plenty of berries next weekend. go south on the AT about 3/4 mile. you won't be disappointed

I just came back from the Canadian Rockies and Glacier National Park. I ate HUCKLEBERRIES.

I was doing a section hike there last year and feasted on the blueberries in that same place. But I think this years crop may have even been better as the bushes in my yard have been overflowing with berries this year.
