Looking for suggestion on a 2.5 day hike on the AT for North GA/ North Caroline area in October.

standing indian loop will only require one vehicle and no shuttle
plus views that are just as good as the other hikes mentioned. similar distance as well.

This is what I would also suggest.

It really depends on your experience and fitness. 2.5 days isn't long, If you are right off the couch, you'd probably want to do about 20 miles in 2.5 days, which means Springer to Woody would be a good hike, but Unicoi to Deep might be too far. 30 miles shouldn't be a problem, if you are experienced and in good shape, which means Unicoi to Deep would be a good hike.
I would recommend Neel Gap to Unicoi Gap, I loved that section.
