My apologies if this has been posted already. Mark your calendars! November 10th at 8pm.

I summited Katahdin the same day they filmed Gary Hill up there, and more than likely I will be in the aerial shots. :banana:banana I have the distinction of having brought the film crew trail magic that morning (McDonald's egg mcfuffins from town) so maybe I'll get mentioned in the credits?

I can't wait. Gary has seen it and says it is really good. This will always be a nice DVD to have to mark an incredible journey.

Yeah, we are having a get together to watch it too. I'm in it at the beginning. We went to DC for the premiere back in the spring, it was great. The aerials are unbelievable. Don't miss this one, it is good.

Yeah, I would think it was a good flick, even if they had cut me out of it. I'm telling ya, the aerials are awesome. NatGeo had to get in the mandatory "man is killing the earth" hoopla, but I can live with that for the other 48.5 minutes in the thing. Honest folks, I've watched quit a few flicks on the AT and this one is one of the top. It is sort of neat the way they lay it out there for folks. They break it up into sections. I'm doing Georgia with them. It was a lot of fun. The folks working on the film, Brain and Katie, are cool folks and have done the AT justice. I'd say this is a don't miss for anyone that loves the AT. If Winton will let us we are going to have a viewing right on the AT at Neel Gap late this fall.

I'm in the "this is how you do it when you hike your own hike and don't listen to all the so called, self appointed experts on websites that shall not be named" section.
