while section hiking a few years ago I ran into two guys in their late 60's-one had had - a quadruple bypass and the other had three stents they were out for a week and loving it-

Triple here. But I only did 500 miles. Heart didn't stop me, though. Ankles.

Bypass surgery makes you spry.
