Hey all, I got stuck in Fontana Village NC due to this lovely winter "wallop." Trying to figure out a way to make it south to NOC/Wesser NC tomorrow (Dec. 20th) Cheapest shuttle I can find is 50 bucks, and as we all know, thru-hikers at the end of the trail tend to be a little worse for wear in the money category.
If anyone has any suggestions, or knows of cheap shuttles to get down the trail, it would be greatly appreciated!

Have you called Dave at 828-332-8059? Budget Inn recommended him this morning (got his voice mail).
I'm shuttling the same route just after Christmas.

hmmm yea I was started to wonder about that...wasn't sure if it was weather related or not, but thanks for the heads up
and now...how to get a package from there...?

Can I park at the NOC tomorrow morning? If I was coming from the south, I'd pick you up.

We parked at NOC yesterday, across from the store. They opened from 10-4, but that was yesterday.
