Yes, this is one of the sources in which I've learned much from concerning the black bear. One of the most important misconceptions I learned from them (and I have personally observed this in SNP) is that female black bears are not the ferocious protectors of their young many would have you believe.

I can't stop reading all the information on this site. It really has calmed alot of my bear heeby geebies. :) I may look forward to seeing a bear now.

Lil had her cubs yesterday. Did anyone see her giving birth? There must have been plenty of watchers on the site I took a bathroom break and was disconnected but was never able to get back in.:banana:banana

I didn't see it, but heard on FOX News that the site crashed due to the high number of viewers.
