Anyone have recommendations on a good time of the year to do this trail? I was thinking May or June.

I'm thinking of Jan or Feb -- just bought a new winter sleeping bag. :)
Any time except NH deer hunting season and mud season. Perhaps avoid the worst of black flies and mosquitos; last year there weren't many here and I'm not far from it.

It all depends on the kind of spring we have. Remember last year when it rained pretty much all of May and June? I'd wait until the spring rains have abbated and the trail has had a chance to dry out some. July is usually good, but the fall is best. Seeing you live in Mass, you should know that!
