hello. my next section will be from deep gap to fontana dam, sometime around the end of april/beginning of may. i'd appreciate any recommendations for cool places to hang my hammock along that section of trail, preferably away from shelters...
also, i'm really looking forward to seeing the balds. how far from the top of the balds do you typically have to travel to find suitable trees for hanging? i've only seen pictures, and most of them look pretty scarse from the top. thanks.
