I don't know why, but most bags I find are for ppl 6' tall! Do short ppl not like down bags, or do they ALL like down bags and buy 'em up?

They don't make many men's bags that size. Also check the women's bags.
A bit expensive, but Feathered Friends also sells shorter bags (and customized lengths if you want to pay the $$$). At 5'6", I'm on the cusp. If only they made 5'10 or 5'9" bags! :D

Good suggestions. I was thinking of buying a bag that is a 6' and having my friend cut the extra off, stuff the foot box more and sew it back up. My feet get cold easily and I've tried everything except a warmer bag and what I mentioned above. Hrm

I have the opposite problem because I am much taller than 6'. But, my wife is 5'2" - she has a "short" length bag designed specifically for women. Many companies have them. Conversely, you could also find a kids bag that would be the length you need.

They do, the Wren series fits 5'4" (small), 5'10"(REG) 6'4" (tall). You can shorten one of those yourself since it has a drawstring foot.

Caution in the kids bags...they are VERY narrow in the shoulder area for an adult. I'm a 5'2 women and petite and they don't work for me....

I'm not at all serious about it. Hence the toothy grin smiley face! :) I already have an 880FP bag.. Ain't about to buy a new one. ;)

I like the extra room at the foot of a bag to store my clothes!
