Hello, looking to do 1/2 the AT this summer and am looking for a pack that will fit my 6'5" frame, not really brand specific. Also looking for used clothing as well. Thanks

I'm 6'4"/250 and use an old kelty redcloud....it's heavy but fits me like a glove and comfortable...I'm going to try the ULA Catalyst next opportunity. I suggest you find the nearest outfitter and try on packs. As of used clothes...go to your nearest salvation army store or any other second hand store...you can also find great deals on Ebay. Best of luck on your hike. Cheers.

get your torso measured first; you might need as big of a pack as you think

agree. I'm 6'5", and use an Osprey Atmos 65. It's comfy to me. Ultimately the best thing to do is visit an outfitter and try some packs on (loaded w/ the approx weight you'll be carrying) to get a good feel of how the pack feels on YOUR back. Good luck!

I am 6'6" and I couldn't find anything that fit. But I recently tried the new Black Diamond Infinity 60 and the whole hip belt is adjustable. I was able to adjust it so that it was too tall. It is the large fitting range I have ever seen. And it is a sweet pack. I am buying one.

I'm 6'-6" and use the Gregory Baltoro 70, size Large. Works perfect...

Right. I'm 5'10+" and my son is 6'5'. He has a shorter torso that I do. If you're all leg this may be the case with you. My torso is 19.5".
