I recently purchased a WM Summerlite sleeping bag that I like very much. After deciding to buy a WB Blackbird Im not sure if I should try stuffing the Summerlite into the Hammock or should I sell it and buy the expensive under and or over quilts made for the blackbird instead?
Depends upon what conditions will be in... I used a WM 20 degree bag in my Blackbird along with a pad last year and was warm to below freezing. I use a Yeti underquilt for lower temps (along with the bag and pad) The summerlite will be fine in the summer, but for spring and fall, I'd get either a warmer bag or an underquilt.

For summer supplement your bag with a pad and you will be right comfy. For winter I'd save up for a UQ and TQ.

After talking to a few people on the Hammockforums.net site that have WM Summerlite bags and Blackbird Hammocks I feel much better. One guy said he uses his Summerlite as a top quilt and has a te-wa UQ that allows him to go down to around 20 degrees.
