VA Iron Mtn Trail v.s. BMT?

Trying to figure out where to head in 2 weeks for about a week. Middle section of BMT (Ducktown to Fontana/20 mile) or make a loop with the Iron Mtn Trail and AT thru Grayson Highlands from Damascus to near Troutdale.

Any opinions? Looking for the best scenary possible, though I'd like to see new stuff (done AT during same time of year).

Any suggestions? Snow levels?

Ended up staying on the AT, Hot Springs to 19E and had an excellent time with some 03 buddies. I will send over a full trip report sometime soon. Fell back in love with the AT again!
