O.K. I am going to carry a stove just in case I need one. I'm sure it's a great idea even though I will not use it much.

Has anyone used one of these? How well does it work?:-?

I have a gram weenie pro, which is basically the same. I use mine with an Evernew titanium teapot.

Like any side burner stove, you have to prime it in the cold. Keep the stove and fuel in your pocket for a while before you use it. It should help if you install a wick on the stove. You'll get a lot of soot if you use 90% or better isopropyl alcohol, but that's hardly unique to this stove. George is great to deal with.

I have used it many times, 190 proof Everclear is the fuel, I keep it in a small squirt bottle.
