Hey all,
I would love love love to get a hold of the Wet Rib backpack accessory that Dana Designs and Marmot manufactured. Left or right iterations!
It seems like these accessories are ideal for soloists who don't use hydration bladders. I work with inner-city kids and they don't even have Nalgene bottles or non-cotton clothing when backpacking, much less hydration systems to put in the packs we outfit them with, so I'm very much in the market for a couple of these.
It looks like they were last manufactured in 2005 so unless there's dead stock someplace, you all are my only hope!

editing for sob story lol.
There may be some old stock still around so don't give up on that. I have two wet ribs (not for sale) and got them both about a year and a half ago from two different outfitters. The thing is that whatever old stock is left of these things are most likely sitting in the clearance bin, most people have no clue what they are looking at and how much of a gem it is.

If you looking for these to use as loaners your going to be paying quite a bit for them. I sold one of mine on Ebay and it went for $75, and it was pretty well used. You could get a quite a few bladders at Walmart for that. I do have another Dana Wet Rib, NWOT and has the original (unused) Dana Designs water bottle. I don't know if I'll sell it, but feel free to make me an offer.:)

@white_russian: I have an unreal lack of shame when it comes to begging, borrowing and stealing gear. I got through 4 years of art school without going broke because I'm talented at asking for what I need from the people who can give it to me.
@Opitimator: I am definitely not looking to use these for loaners, as students can easily help one another get bottles out of their packs. It's more that I want the water bottle habit even if I'm out on my own on trail, and I keep using/looking at packs that have these lame wimpy side mesh pockets *cough*KELTY*cough.* I'm also a fairly adept seamstress so that's always a possibility once I get one Wet Rib.
