SO last X-mas my parents bought me a box of pre-made chicken salad that is in a small 2.9 0z "tuna"can. It came with a small spoon and crackers. It was really a gag gift, and when I tasted it,.. yes I gaged.
But I was thinkin it would make a great small stove, kinda like the fancy freast cat food stove. The problem is that the inside of the can is coated in a white wrap, I'm thinking to preserve to chicken salad. I tried to burn it off with 1/2 oz heet and nothing, same with 1 full oz. The stuff will not burn off. So should I not use the can as a stove or is it ok with the film on there or is there a way to get/burn it off? Just wondering?

That lining may contain BPA which *might* be hazardous if ingested, especially for fetuses and young children. Whether or not you would actually ingest it (or absorb it from the fumes) from using the can as a stove is another issue. Might be better just to use a different can even though there are a lot of ifs and mights involved.
