Looking for a bag for a budget conscious beginner. 3-season packing mostly in the northeast. I'm thinking anything in the 30 degree range will be good. I'm a big dude, 6'0" 240 lbs.

If anyone has anything in good shape that fits the bill, let me know. Budget is around $75 (or less of course!) for used.

Thanks

I keep seeing old down bags show up on eBay, if you're still looking.

I love it, I am 5'11" and 280lbs. and I have plenty of room, I used it over Memorial Day weekend outside of North Conway, It got pretty chilly at night but I never felt it. The second night I didn't even bother with socks, Just Sweatpants and a T-Shirt.
It packs smaller than my 350 dollar Feathered Friends and at 3 lbs. it is light enough to use for backpacking and the stuff sack has compression straps built in so you can smoosh it down even smaller if you want to, It also has a velcro flap at the top of the bag to keep it from unzipping during the night and 2 tabs at the foot area to hang it for storage. All in All, For an oversize bag, I consider it a winner. Add 15 more bucks to your order and get free freight. Worth a look!!
