A lot of you may already know but just wanted to give you a heads up that if needed, there is a Medical Clinic in Daleville, Virginia right off the AT. It is called Carilion Medical Group, it is part of a regional hospital and healthcare chain in SW VA. I was in there working the other day, visiting the lab, and they told me a lot of thru-hikers stop in there. A lot are dehydrated and stay a couple of days in a nearby hotel to recuperate and get hydrated; some get tested for Lyme's Disease (it has been worse than normal this year they said) and a lot get treated for diarrhea. They are in several of the other cities close to the AT - Pearisburg, Blacksburg, Roanoke, Daleville, Buchanon, Lexington, Buena Vista, Waynesboro. Happy and Healthy hiking.
