I'm doing a weekend hike around the Laurel Falls area and couldn't remember Kincora's parking cost/policies. Can anyone enlighten me?

19E last summer. I know it's more heavily trafficked... but I'd rather not take the risk again in the same general area.

There's no history of vandalism at Dennis Cove. If you are still wary, park at Kincora and let Bob know. He probably won't care. If you come out with ASU's trail crew, he really won't care.

I'm pretty sure you can park there free, but drop him a few bucks anyway.
Don't want to hijack this thread.....but does anyone know how old Bob Peoples is? Several of us were trying to guess with fastly different opinions.:p

No. But I know that he summited Mt. Everest in shorts and a tank top. Or so the writing on the shelter walls say. :-?

I was there last August with a group of Boy Scouts. We stayed our first night in the hostel, left our cars, Bob Shuttled us South and we hiked back to his place (showered and hit the road to IN).
Bob works off of donations.
Bob and I went to college together and I'm 67. While he looks a whole lot better than I do, I suspect that we are the same age.

It has been a few years since I visited Kincora, but the parking spaces were very limited as the driveway is in thick woods.

He has cleared a parking area close to the road.
