I often find bait bags washed up on the Fundy Shore. T.hey are fun to find, and sort of nifty looking, so I like to go out of my way to find a use for them. I usually stuff by garbage into them or something like that. Other times I might use one for stuffing tinder and small kindling I find along the way.

Anyhow, I don't expect you would find to many of these along the AT, unless you wander of trail in Maine a ways, but it is a fun video to watch, and you might see some ideas for some DIY project of your own. It is also fun to watch because it provides some insight into a cottage industry linked to the fishing industry.

Now that is exactly what I was looking for to use behind trhe seat in my kayak for storage. I can put my 3L water bladder in it, suspended behind my seat for easy access to drinking water while kayaking instead of taking bottles. It can also hold my wet items.
