1 year anniversary this Saturday.

I'm posting this under humor, seems all the other serious posts/threads concerning the subject VANISHED. Have you (the mods) ever considered that some people just need to be aware of such stupid undertakings? There are people out there that ARE just this stupid and I feel it's necessary to warn them. Delete if it violates your line of thinking.

Sassy, I'm with you. Of all the Gazillions of places to hike, one of the dumbest places to pick would be the border between Iraq and Iran. I think they deserve a Darwin award.

I also agree! Hiking the border of a country at war makes no sense at all. It's not a recreation destination! The Iranian regime is under intense international pressure and probably feeling a little paranoid! The Iranian's have to view these three kids as spies and not recreational hikers. If it were not so tragic a situation, I could find the humor in it.
