I'm working on a research project for and undergrad program my college sponsers. We will be presenting at the North Carolina University in Asheville. Natural History and the Appalachian Trail

This is a survey to assess the impact the Appalachian Trail has had on a person’s knowledge and awareness of the environment.

Oh NO!!!! Not another survey!!!

That said, please elaborate some. The above plants and trees are not mentioned in any of the guide books.. I think you have the wrong trail. Try Austailia..I mean, what the heck is a Coyote Turtle Duck Oak?? Never hear of that one before..And a Chipmunk Dove Lichen?? I know there are thousands of Lichen species, but this one if diffinitly new to me.. Let me check out my fossil book. maybe they existed before now..Hmmmm.:-?
