Hello All rockhopper here,
I lost the top part of my svea stove 123 stove. the housing that the pot sits on.
I am heading back out soon and could use some help...
I am in Asheville
You could give these folks a call: http://packstoves.net/cart/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=70&zenid=ad91582ad307853520e99e34641b08be
I got some parts from them a while ago. I would try the phone first.
If you can't find the wind scren, look for a Sigg Tourister cook set. It has a pot support/windscreen. The stove fits inside. Better for two ormore than solo but at least it will let you use your stove. I saw one recently on amazon or ebay.

Can't beat the SVEA as an all around stove.
I still have my Svea 123R from 30 years ago and it still works. I love it on short cold trips where I'm going to cook alot. I paid like $30 for it and thought that was a heck of a lot. Now its $100. People complained about lighting it up but I never had a problem even in the frigid winters.

I've had mine for 41 years. Never any problems.
Apparently some people find dribbling a dropperful of gas in a depression and lighting it is beyond their technical skills.
