Am planning on a trip to the Whites next weekend. Does anyone know what the water conditions are like?
just got back from the Whites thursday -- crawford notch to grafton notch, ME. rained 5 out of six days. more than average rain for August, too. Water, water everywhere. Just remember some of the huts are closed so you can't get water out of a tap every few miles, but otherwise, no problem.
Thanks, very much. And I had forgotten about the huts closing. You probably saved me from from a very significant 'duh' moment as I walked up to a hut with empty bottles in hand.
