I was up there about a month ago. Water was scarce from Fontana to Mollies Ridge. The spring was dry at Mollies Ridge. After that, there were no problems.

I was out in the Cherokee forest today, not exactly the Smokies, but very close. Springs are dry, creeks are low.

water was running at Icewater Springs and Pecks Corner September 12-14. Southbounmd hiker reported water as far as Davenport.
