Can anyone comment on the water conditions between Ashby Gap and Harpers Ferry? I know it's been very dry during late summer in PA & NJ. I'm trying to determine whether or not I need to cache some water. I'll be out for 2 nights in a couple weekends.

Came through this area from Ashby Gap to Harpers Ferry from 10/8 to 10/10. There was water in every hollow from Ashby Gap to Sam Moore Shelter. Rod Hollow Shelter spring was reported to be dry but there was a little stream running about 20 yards south of the side trail to the shelter on the AT. The spring at Sam Moore was running. Sand Spring near Crescent Rock had good flow. The spring was running with good flow at David Lessor Shelter. There is no water from David Lessor to Harpers Ferry.
