Nay! ATT U-verse digital video recorder. (And if anybody signs up for U-verse, tell them I referred you, and I get a credit!) But alas, wasn't worth the bother, the AT was not mentioned that I heard.
Well, I'm off the keyboard and out the door in a few minutes to do some real hiking! "See" y'all next week when I get back.

The AT was not mentioned at all. Bryson is pimping his new book, "At Home".
You can watch the episode online here:

I like Bill Bryson's writing, he is funny but he is a snob. My early morning rant, I'm over it now.

I heard him last week inteviewed on NPR - the entire subject was this new book. Sounds pretty interesting and likely written in Bryson's normal humorous style.
The interview was pleasant. Just watched it online. Colbert, as usual, was incisive and witty and Bryson was his usual droll, wry, understated self. And course it was all about the new book - that's the point! Colbert, earlier in the show, making fun of Christine O'Donnell, was very witty and clever.
I missed the show last night. Whats his new book about?
It's called "At Home" and it's an examination of things we take for granted in our homes. Day to day things and the history behind them.
