I was playing around with paracord bracelets again (it's addictive). I combined the cobra stitch with a sinnet braid. I'm not a big fan of the king cobra stitch, but wanted a bracelet wider than the normal cobra stitch.
It still looks like the cobra stitch, but it's wider, so you get more cord in the same bracelet. if you look closely, you can see that there are three strands between each stitch, instead of two like a typical cobra.
has anyone seen this type of braid before? if so, does it have a name?
i've taken to calling it the alligator back braid, because it looks like an alligator back... and i couldn't think of anything else
