Anybody got a pair of tall gaitors or non-step in crampons that will fit a size 11?

PM or respond to this post.

Here is a pair of G-10's for sale (http://cgi.ebay.com/Grivel-G-10-Crampons-/320636296802?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4aa7699e62) - Identical to what I currently use. Probably 8-10 years old. These are 10 point, but not "step-in. They can be put on very quickly and onto a variet5y of boot styles - down to a size 8, IIRC. These are likely what you want unless you want to step down to stabilicers.

Much appreciated if you can.

If not then a link to the product with a description of its current condition, age and usage will be just fine.

I have often seen gators, but never tall ones, although because of their propensity for biting people, I haven't tried to measure any.

I do, however, have a pair of gaiters, and they are tall ones. Gaiters, as all here will know, are fabric lower leg and shoe/boot covers that prevent things from getting inside your footwear. That way you can easily run from gators.

Chris - There is another thread on Gaiters for big legs, where I mentioned these Threshold Gaiters (http://www.campmor.com/outdoor/gear/Product___11607)- I wear them in the winter with my BC Skis and have ben very pleased with them since around 95 or so. They are a great alternative to expensive Crocs (Which I also have several pairs of). If you want the Sympatiex Waterproof breathable version, get these (http://www.campmor.com/outdoor/gear/Product___11613)(Currently the same price)

I have a pair of OR Gaiters that I don't use (bought 'em used on a whim to try out for $25.. To replace my Campmor Log House
Design ones. Prefer the ones from Log House Designs that are no longer sold by Campmor..I just checked... Sigh)

I'd rather they be used by someone then taking up space in my apt. Seriously. They are Goretex, go up to the knee and are in good - excellent condition.

Similar to these. Except they are blue and a men's large. As with Toolshed, I wear my gaiters with backcountry skis.

I hope my current pair of gaiters by them does not wear out any time soon. I bought my 2nd pair from Campmor and they are awesome. Looks like the do not sell them anymore and the LHD website is no more.. :(
