Apparently there are quite a few people who like maple syrup with their bacon, sausage, scrapple and such...but I never got that. :cool:

jack, you need syrup on crappy city bacon. its weak and sickly flavor is lame without it. but real double smoked neck bacon from the real world is ruined by maple or sugar of any kind. its kinda like adding stuff to ramman because of its lame cracker chicken salt taste, is to adding chopped up slim jms to your grannys homemade soup would be. city bacon is the telltale of sociaty in decline .

Kosher "friendly" hahahaha that's SO not kosher if it's made of salt form curing bacon. That being said, I still wanna try one!
We tried some "Muddy Pigs" at the State fair last year, deep fried bacon dipped in chocolate, one word, Yeecchh!

I need nothing of the sort; that taste combination just doesn't work for me.

Neither would that taste combination. "Yeecchh!" sums it up well...

At the Florida State Fair in Tampa you can get deep fried anything! w/chocolate.
